Sought After Style
A day off + a doubleshot of espresso = surprise blog post!
Inspired by the beautiful (but fleeting) spring weather, I decided to review a site with style as refreshing as this weather: Luxe7.com.
This site features bright patterns and completely on-point trends: think floral, anchor, chevron, etc.
It also features the designs of some great, less well-known brands- a double bonus as you're scoring designer merchandise that not everyone at uni already owns (read: Michael Kors)
A final bonus of this site is the cute accessories they offer. The site reminds me of Francesca's on a smaller scale: a focus on dresses and accessories emphasizing the current trends in the twenty-something communities.
The price point is a little steep though again, it is similar to the prices you'll find at a smaller boutique a la Francesca's. I definitely would be interested to see how the quality compares to the price, so feel free to leave a comment if you've shopped Luxe7.
On that note:
Any suggestions on other shops to feature? What's your favorite place to shop?

Sought After Style
Disclaimer: there is a sickening amount of puns in the following post. Pregnant women, those prone to nausea or with weak stomachs, and fuddy duddies should consult a doctor before reading.

Any truly addicted online shopper has probably seen an ad for Jolly Chic peeking out from behind her latest Facebook chat about last night's hijinks. Having passed it up many times as shopping is not my top priority while stalking the ex's newest photos, I was wary of actually clicking it. However it seems that Zuckerberg stopped bedding biddies long enough to refine his sidebar ads and I stumbled upon a cute boutique that offers international shipping.

Feel free to drop a beat as we break it down into the pros and cons of international sellers:
Pros: unique clothing, bitchin' low prices, free shipping for larger purchases
Cons: time to ship, shipping is usually based by weight (more stuff (read: more shoes) = higher cost))
With that said, this boutique is one of the best Asian-based sellers I've seen and it has some great clothing at mid-range prices.
Because they mimick European styles, Eastern-based trends tend to be ahead of American styles. However, they tend to make these styles with cheaper fabric so the lower price range comes with a lower quality.
Many of the styles that are popular on the site right now are reminiscent of Anthropologie or J. Crew.
Keep in mind that these are in Asian sizes aka: made for the impossibly small. A general rule of thumb for ordering any clothing from Asian sellers is to go one size up when ordering.
Jolly Chic is currently having a $5 off sale at checkout for Easter so hop on over to hunt for some egg-cellent deals. <end puns>

pixie market
Let's imagine for a second that the Nasty Gal and Forever 21 did the ol' bump n grind and made a lovechild that was a combination of their best qualities: eclectic, fun, and just enough sexy to turn a certain ex's head.
Pixie Market is totally that lovechild.
I am loving the bohemian club vibe reminiscent of more popular sites like NastyGal and Tobi.
With plenty of unique pieces and styles exclusive to their site, you can be sure that a certain frenemy from high school won't be wearing the same outfit as you at the bar again this Lady's Night (or god forbid, a cheaper Forever 21 lookalike).
The price point is average. Expect to pay for quality but some style staples earn lower prices and they currently have a "$10, $20, $30" sale on so you can be sure to snag your favorite style for less!
While Pixie Market is still flying under most fashion radars, it is just beginning to hit fashion sharing sites such as Pinterest and Wanelo.
Clothing featured in this post:
Pointy Ankle Strap $68.00
Hologram Platform Brogues $134.00
Erin Wrap Heels $134.00
Black Lace Crochet Kimono $59.00
